Caffi Botanica Café sits quietly within the National Botanical Gardens in Carmarthen, making it an inviting spot for both a mid-walk break and a casual meetup. The café leans into its garden surroundings with a pleasant mix of indoor and outdoor seating, including a small courtyard that fills up nicely on sunny days. It's the kind of place where you’ll likely take a moment to rest your feet, sip on a carefully made mocha, and watch robins dart about, adding a bit of lighthearted charm to your visit.

The atmosphere here is relaxed and clean, with friendly staff who seem well-versed in making guests feel comfortable—whether you’re stopping by for a quick drink or a more substantial bite. Food portions are generous and served hot, and while prices are a little on the higher side compared to your run-of-the-mill café, that’s partly due to the peaceful setting and the attentive service. Expect typical café fare that’s thoughtfully prepared; highlights include a good mocha and fresh scones, with some more unusual offerings like orecchiette if you want something a bit different.

Families with young children will find it accommodating too, with facilities and attentive service catering to little ones. On busier days, finding a table indoors could require a little wander, but the courtyard provides a bright alternative when the sun’s out. Nearby accessible toilets make it practical for longer stays.

This is the sort of place that locals might drop into to unwind after wandering the gardens or to catch up over coffee in a quiet corner. Early afternoons, especially on sunny days, seem to be when the café hits its stride atmosphere-wise—when the courtyard fills up with light and soft chatter mingles with birdcalls just outside the door.

A great place to have a rest and have refreshments very clean throughout staff very friendly, the food is reasonably priced no more than you would expect to pay elsewhere, lovely court yard on sunny days to have a rest, toilets are nearby and disabled toilets

Our first time here, and as it was lunchtime we had cawl which was delicious. Also had a Coaltown mocha which was the best we'd had. Look forward to the next visit!

This is a nice cafe situated within the national botanical gardens. Plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. Can be pretty busy, so you may need to walk around until you find a table. Very clean and a nice place to sit and relax to eat and drink after walking Food is nice but a little pricey.

Whilst grabbing some lunch, we had the pleasure of watching two robbins that had snuck in to start their cleaning shift. It was extremely amusing watching them go around the floors hoovering up any leftovers. The food was excellent, and the team that was on that day were very friendly and helpful.

We had a really lovely lunch here today! I’m not one to usually leave reviews but I have to say the cafe is lovely. Clean and cosy, has everything you need, even catering to my 18 month old. Lovely menu choices and the food came out quickly, piping hot and delicious. Very generous portions. Staff were friendly, warm and helpful! Really liked that there were plenty of napkins and paper straws to help ourselves to. You can tell whoever is running the cafe has really thought of all the details and we had a great experience! Thank you
